Taking Regulatory Action
The Education Act 2011 amends the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009 to change Ofqual’s monitoring and enforcement functions.
We are consulting on Taking Regulatory Action, Version 2. This is a revised version of our policy for taking statutory regulatory action which has been updated in response to these changes. While we consult on and prepare a new version, the first version of Taking Regulatory Action (June 2011) remains in force until we advise of a change. This consultation is limited to the changes we propose to make to our existing policy. We consulted on the first version of this document in April 2011, and the current version came into effect in June 2011. We are not asking for comments on those parts of the policy that have not changed since June.
